Engineering: Professional-Grade Mechanical Construction
High Compression Ratio and Multi-Valve Design:
The V10-150 features a high compression ratio of 13.7:1, along with a four-valve system (two inlet, two-row) and a three-ring piston design (two oil rings and one oil ring). These features not only improve engine sealing and performance, but also reduce oil consumption.
Dual Oil Pump Lubrication System:
For increased durability and realism, the model incorporates a dual system of high-pressure and low-pressure oil pumps. The high-pressure pump delivers oil to all moving parts, while the low-pressure pump recovers oil to a storage tank. The crankshaft and camshaft are fully lubricated, significantly reducing failure rates and maintenance requirements.
External Water Cooling System:
To address heat dissipation during high-rpm operation, a specially designed external centrifugal water pump and enlarged inlet and outlet holes ensure effective heat dissipation from the cylinder block, enabling long-term operation.

Starting it up requires some "expertise"
Phase 1: Pre-Startup Preparation and Installation
1. Install Necessary Accessories:
Cooling System: Install the external centrifugal water pump, water tank (with a radiator no smaller than 200 x 100 mm), and water pipes (inlet and outlet). Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free.
Lubrication System: Install the external oil tank, oil filter, and oil radiator. Connect the high-pressure and low-pressure oil lines.
Fuel System: Install a fuel tank with a capacity of at least 500 mL and connect gasoline-resistant fuel lines.
Ignition System: Connect the CDI igniter (12V) and the high-voltage coils for each cylinder. and spark plugs.
Starting System: Connect the 150A ESC and the brushless starter motor, and prepare a 5S-6S (19V) battery.
2. Filling Various Fluids:
Oil: Fill the oil reservoir with at least 200mL of 5W30 or 10W40 fully synthetic oil.
Fuel: Fill the fuel tank with 92# or higher grade pure gasoline.
Coolant: Fill the water coolant tank with an appropriate amount of water coolant or purified water.
Stage 2: Starting Sequence
After completing all preparations, strictly follow the following steps.
Step 1: Manually pump oil to establish the oil circuit.
Use the priming bulb on the carburetor. ) Press repeatedly until you see the oil bubble fill with fuel. This draws fuel from the fuel tank into the carburetor and removes air from the fuel line.
Step 2: Block the Intake to Absorb Fuel
Gently block the carburetor's air intake with your hand.
Briefly press the starter switch, allowing the starter motor to crank the engine for a few seconds (approximately 3-5 seconds). This action increases the negative pressure in the carburetor, drawing further fuel into the engine.
Once completed, release the blockage on the carburetor.
Step 3: Official Start
Now, press the starter switch fully to start the engine.
Important: Each continuous start should last no more than 5 seconds. If a successful start is not achieved within 5 seconds, release the switch and wait at least 15 seconds to allow the starter motor and ESC to cool before attempting the next start. This prevents overheating and burnout of the motor due to repeated starts.
Step 4: Post-Start Inspection
After the engine starts, immediately check the following:
Oil pressure: Verify that the oil circuit is circulating properly.
Cooling system: Verify that the water pump is operating and that the coolant is circulating. Check for unusual noises: Listen for smooth, normal engine operation.
What to do if the engine fails to start?
If the engine still fails to start after following the above steps, refer to the "Troubleshooting" section in the manual and check the following:
1. Ignition system: Verify that the battery is fully charged and that the spark plugs are sparking.
2. Fuel system: Verify that the fuel lines are clear and that there is fuel in the carburetor. Check to see if the engine is failing to start due to "rich fuel" (flooding) or "lean fuel."
3. Compression pressure: New engines may experience some issues with the engine's engine. Incomplete sealing of the plug rings results in insufficient cylinder pressure, requiring a break-in according to the instructions in the manual.
4. Timing System: Check the timing marks on the camshaft and crankshaft synchronizer for alignment.
⚠️IMPORTANT: If you suspect flooding due to "rich fuel" (wet spark plugs), absolutely do not attempt to start the engine with power.
Break-in Precautions
New engines must undergo a 25-hour idle break-in.
During the break-in period, avoid high rpm operation, as this will cause severe wear.
After the break-in period, the engine oil must be changed to remove metal debris.
⚠️ It's not just fun, it's also about safety:
🔥 Use pure gasoline; never operate near open flames.
🌬️ Operate in a well-ventilated environment to avoid carbon monoxide accumulation.
⚡ The ignition system contains high voltage; do not touch moving components.
🔧 Do not disassemble without authorization to avoid damage or personal injury.
CDI ignition order:
Engine ignition order:
Facing the engine belt, from the left side, from the front to the rear, are cylinders 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Facing the engine belt, from the right side, from the front to the rear, are cylinders 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.
CDI ignition system order:
With the CDI ignition system module connector facing downward, facing the cable connector end, from the left side, from near to far, are cylinders 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
CDI The ignition system module connector faces upward, directly opposite the cable connector. From closest to farthest on the right, the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th cylinders are shown.
For engine ignition system installation, refer to the controller instructions. This engine has two Hall effect sensors: a camshaft Hall effect sensor and a flywheel Hall effect sensor. Connect them to the CDI controller according to the instructions. Note that the engine Hall effect sensor angles are already adjusted; do not adjust them.
Maintenance: Extending Engine Life
Regular Cleaning:
Carburetor: Clean the air intake for dust and oil. It is recommended to install an air filter.
Timing belt: Clean with alcohol; do not use corrosive cleaners.
Engine Oil Change:
Use engine oil of the appropriate grade and viscosity. Completely drain the old oil when changing. It is recommended to idle the engine for 10 minutes using a mixture of 85% engine oil and 15% gasoline before adding new oil.
Spark Plug Maintenance:
Spark plugs are consumable and require regular inspection and replacement. Use 95# gasoline or higher to avoid excessive engine tilt.
Storage Guidelines:
Short-term storage (1-3 Months)
Clean the engine surface, apply rust-proof oil, disconnect the power cord, loosen the drive belt, seal any exposed pipes, cover with plastic, and store in a dry environment.
Long-term storage (over 3 months)
Drain the engine oil while hot (do not drain the coolant). After cleaning, attach a note tag to warn others not to touch the engine.
Restarting:
Remove the cover, connect the pipes, pump the oil and bleed the air, add clean engine oil, check the oil and coolant, and rotate the flywheel/crankshaft 3-5 turns to confirm there is no binding.
