Gasoline Engine Model Four-Stroke Single Cylinder Physical Experimental Equipment
Features:
The gasoline engine model is designed according to the height of the object. It can clearly and intuitively explain the basic working principle of the four-stroke single-cylinder gasoline engine and the main structure of the common single-cylinder gasoline engine. It is suitable for teaching demonstration.
Construction:
The front side of the instrument is a section cut along the longitudinal axis of the cylinder, and the cylindrical cavity in the middle is a cylinder. On both sides of the cylinder is a section of the cooling water jacket. The piston moves up and down in the cylinder, and the lines on the piston represent the piston ring and the oil ring. The square cavity below the cylinder is the crankcase. The front part of the box is the crankshaft. It is connected to the piston through the connecting rod. The rear one is the camshaft. There are two cams with different positions on the top. The push rod is pushed up and down in turn and passed. The rocker arm controls the intake valve at the top of the cylinder and the opening and closing of the exhaust valve. In the middle of the top of the cylinder is a spark plug. The left side of the instrument is the flywheel, the right side has the curved wheel timing gear, the camshaft timing gear, the gear ratio is 1:2. The compression ratio of a gasoline engine is generally 5-8, so when the piston rises to the top dead center, the top of the cylinder is proportionally left with a certain gap. The instrument is equipped with a light display device, and the lights will flash in sequence when the instrument is running.
How to Use:
1. Connect the two terminals to the 1.5-2V power supply (or install the No. 5 dry battery into the battery clip on the bottom plate), close the switch, adjust the piston to the top dead center, and then slowly rotate in the direction of the arrow shown on the flywheel.
2. The flywheel, respectively, describes the piston, intake valve, exhaust valve, ignition and other actions in the four strokes to clarify the basic working principle of the gasoline engine. Observe how the linear reciprocating motion of the piston is converted into the rotary motion of the flywheel, and how to control the push rod, the rocker arm and the air valve to move up and down when the camshaft rotates.
3. The flashing of the electric bead on the top of the cylinder indicates the ignition (the instrument has an advance angle of ignition, so the ignition Is done when the compression stroke is not completely finished).
Note:
This model is generally shipped after adjustment, all components have been assembled, do not arbitrarily move or disassemble. Operate the instrument according to the instructions for use. Please keep it after use and pay attention to the cleaning and maintenance of the instrument for longer use.
