Hit and Miss Engine Full Metal IC Engine Model Water Cooled Gasoline Engine Internal Combustion Engine with Base Gift Collection
What's Hit and Miss Engine?
A hit-and-miss engine is a type of four-stroke internal combustion engine that is controlled by a governor to operate at a set speed. It was conceived in the late 19th century and produced by various companies from the 1890s through approximately the 1940s. The name comes from the speed control on these engines: they fire ("hit") only when operating at or below a set speed, and cycle without firing ("miss") when they exceed their set speed. This is as compared to the "throttle governed" method of speed control. The sound made when the engine is running without a load is a distinctive "POP whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh POP" as the engine fires and then coasts until the speed decreases and it fires again to maintain its average speed.Features:
1. STABLE STRUCTURE: The engine can be disassembled and can be used for DIY , the structure design is stable, and the surface has anti-rust treatment.
2. SIMPLE OPERATION: Place the engine on a lug boss, leave the wheel in a suspended state, inject gasoline or diesel or kerosene into the single cylinder, and then manually rotate the wheel (may take two or three attempts) and the engine will start. It is very convenient to observe the principle of the engine.

3. Check whether the screws on the model are loose and whether the throttle is closed. Add about 3/4 cold water to the tank after inspection.
4. Turn on the power switch and turn the flywheel. Start the engine counterclockwise on the right side of the engine.
Warm Tips:
