The previous generation, OCAL Electronic Collimator 3.0 MAX, achieved a breakthrough in precision and stability through advanced 3A process modules and high-precision assembly technology. Upon its release, it received widespread acclaim in the market for its outstanding performance.
However, the 3.0 MAX was not without flaws. Its bulky module and heavy weight made it prone to reduced accuracy from everyday bumps or accidental drops. Additionally, the high production cost resulted in a relatively high retail price, which limited its adoption.
To overcome these challenges, our R&D team spent two years developing the new OCAL Electronic Collimator 4.0, which brings the following advantages compared to the 3.0 MAX—even though the aperture size is only slightly reduced:
